| Monthly Assignment |
| Every month at the general meeting, the Contest committee will give members an "assignment". This could be an item, a thought, a color, a texture, a movement, just about anything. Unless the assignment is "OPEN", it will be your job to think what that word means to you and capture it on film! If the assignment is "OPEN", that means your photo can be ANY subject matter, as long as it was taken by you! Write your name on the back of your print. Everyone attending the meeting that day will take a vote for what they feel is the best photo. That photo will be featured on this web site as our "Photo of the Month". |
Note: photo can be up to 8 x 12 -- must be unmatted, unframed; MAY be mounted, but mount must be same size as photo Those who have had three or more wins will be placed in the category of "Champions", and compete only against other Champions. Those who have not yet won 3 times are in the category of "Challengers", and compete only against other Challengers. Thus, starting in January 2007, we will have 2 winners per month! |
